Approved text pending. This page exists so the site’s legal links are complete. What follows describes what the final Copyright policy is expected to cover, drawn from the approved product brief. It is a reference summary, it has not been legal-reviewed, and it is not a binding policy. The rules that apply today are in the Terms and Conditions.

What this policy will cover

The published policy is expected to set out who owns what, and what the service will and will not claim about your work. The product brief already fixes these points:

  • StoryCraftAI never claims that an output is original, unique, clear for publication, or legally safe.
  • The service does not closely imitate the distinctive style of a living author; it offers high-level, non-identifying traits instead.
  • The service does not continue or reproduce substantial copyrighted text that the user has not supplied.
  • You may ask for critique or transformation of text you supply; quotations are kept minimal and the focus stays on analysis.
  • You are encouraged not to share confidential drafts or material you lack permission to use.

Still to be settled

Ownership of session output, the licence the site takes in material you submit, and the process for reporting material you believe infringes your rights all need approved wording.

The rules that apply today

Until this policy is published, intellectual property is covered by section 5 of the Terms and Conditions.

What this service is. StoryCraftAI provides creative-development guidance, not complete book creation, professional editing, legal advice, or guarantees of originality or publication.
