FAQ

Questions before your first session?

Read how tokens, chats, creative boundaries, and account controls are intended to work.

What can StoryCraftAI help with?

Premises, character motivations, conflict, scene purpose, structure, pacing, dialogue diagnosis, endings, revision questions, and compact exercises.

Will it write a book for me?

No. StoryCraftAI is designed for narrative development, not complete book creation or ghostwriting. It can help you make choices and may provide brief illustrative examples.

Can I paste my draft into the chat?

Only share material you have the right to use, and avoid confidential or sensitive information. Final input limits and retention behavior must be confirmed before launch.

Does it guarantee original ideas?

No. Story ideas and patterns can overlap. Treat outputs as prompts for your judgment, and seek qualified advice when clearance matters.

Can it imitate a living author?

It should not closely imitate a living author’s distinctive style. Ask for high-level traits—such as sparse dialogue, nonlinear structure, or comic tension—instead.

How do tokens work?

Tokens provide access to chats. Quantities, consumption, expiration, refill, and refund rules are pending commercial approval and must appear before purchase.

Are chats saved?

Storage, history, export, deletion, and retention behavior are implementation decisions and must be accurately disclosed in the product and privacy materials.

Can it give publishing or legal advice?

It can offer general creative information, not legal, contractual, rights, or publishing-professional advice.

What if a response misses the point?

State the intended audience, medium, tone, and the specific choice you are weighing. You can also ask for fewer options or a different lens.

How do I contact support?

Use the contact form. A verified support address and response-time statement must be added before launch.

StoryCraftAI provides creative-development guidance, not complete book creation, professional editing, legal advice, or guarantees of originality or publication.
